At Stroller Strong Moms Jacksonville, we pride ourselves on helping moms form a sense of community while getting out, sweating, and having fun. We are a one-of-a-kind fitness class that offers varied, adaptable workouts to athletes of all abilities. Whether you are postpartum, a new mom, a seasoned athlete, or someone that is looking to start a fitness journey, our Jacksonville stroller fitness class could be right for you.

All you need to Sweat Like a Mother, or SLAM, is a set of dumbbells, a sturdy stroller, a yoga mat, snacks for your kids, and water. We offer classes four days a week and yoga classes on Thursdays, taught by a certified yoga instructor.

What to Expect from SLAM

When you workout with us, you will gain so much more than just an exercise. In addition to our fitness classes and yoga, we also offer monthly Mom’s Night Out events and regular playgroups for the kids.

Each class is different and any move or workout can be adjusted to the individual athlete. Our classes incorporate a variety of movements, including:

  • Plyometrics
  • Dumbbell moves
  • Weight training
  • Resistance training
  • Endurance training
  • Flexibility
  • Body-weight movements
  • Mobility

Each class includes a fully led warmup, multiple workout stations, running routes, and guided cooldown. Our classes take place along the St. Johns River, with beautiful views and sprawling oak trees, so there is always something new to see while getting your sweat on!

Danielle Gutierrez | email

Danielle has a masters degree in Exercise Science and is a licensed and registered occupational therapist. She has also completed her 200 hour yoga certification and holds a current BLS CPR/AED through the American Heart Association. Danielle is from Florida, but as a navy spouse has lived all over the world to include Europe and Asia. She has been an instructor with SLAM Fort Leavenworth where she fell in love with the community! Danielle lives in Jacksonville with her husband Patrick and 3 kids; Roy (3), Zoe (2), and Mia (her newest little baby born this past Fall). Danielle is passionate about yoga and running. She has completed several half marathons around the world and previously coached track and field for Maclay school in Tallahassee. Danielle’s favorite way to SLAM is by running, and of course her yoga practice.

Danielle is an amazing instructor!! She’s great at balancing working all muscle groups, but I really think she has a gift for good core workouts!! Danielle always keeps the workouts fun and challenging! She’s a great addition to Stroller Strong Moms!!


Danielle’s classes are innovative and fun! You’re always in for a challenge whether it’s a SLAM workout or yoga. She puts thought and intention into her work and delivers her instruction from the heart. I’ve enjoyed every class I’ve taken with Danielle, her energy and positivity are contagious!


I love, love, LOVE! Stroller Strong Moms! From the very first day, I had NO idea it would impact my life the way it has. Going to class until about a week before I had baby #2 most definitely helped me achieve my goal of having a natural birth the second time around and helped me recover pretty quickly afterwards. I also ran my first 5k and am now addicted. Looking forward to MORE awesome butt-kicking workouts, watching all the babies play and grow, and making new friends all at the same time!

All I gotta say is, man, we need this at every Army post! It’s fun, motivating, realistic, inexpensive, and practical. Thanks for helping get my behind in gear – with baby in tow! Can’t beat the friendships either!!


I cannot say enough great things about Danielle as an instructor, athlete and friend! Her workouts are always spot on, exciting, and challenging. stroller strong moms is an amazing workout group, that offers not just fitness classes, but also support and camaraderie! I love that tribe and all the amazing women in it!
