Sheena Richards| sheena@strollerstrongmoms.com
Sheena is a military wife and mom to three awesome kids. She is originally from a very small town in Northwest Iowa and has a love for running and fitness. She is an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor and is First Aid and CPR/AED certified through the American Red Cross. She has an MBA in Healthcare Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine. After spending the past 14 years working in Radiology, she made the decision to start a new adventure and open Stroller Strong Moms Newport News, in hopes of bringing woman and kids together within her community.
Sheena first joined Stroller Strong Moms in the original S.L.A.M. city of Columbus, Georgia after she had her third baby in 2017. She was hooked from day 1. When the military moved her family to El Paso, TX she once again found her tribe and continued the S.L.A.M. life in El Paso where she found a passion for wanting to help others reach their fitness goals. The Army has now brought her and her family to Fort Eustis, Virginia. She is determined to bring the encouraging, supportive, and inspiring S.L.A.M. life to her new city in hopes of creating a group that is inclusive and welcoming to moms in all stages of motherhood. Sheena’s favorite ways to S.L.A.M. include running, HIIT workouts, and heavy weight training. Sheena is thrilled to get started and can’t wait to meet the moms and kids in Newport News and surrounding area.
