Nestled under beautiful pine trees, surrounded by prestigious fairways, renowned stables, and filled with southern charm, Southern Pines is a hidden gem in North Carolina. And Stroller Strong Moms Southern Pines is a hidden gem in itself! From creative and challenging workouts filled with laughter, to forever friendships forged between moms (and between little ones!), and the feeling that you can conquer anything that motherhood and life has to throw at you, our Southern Pines stroller fitness class has it all!

Our certified instructor will lead you through total-body exercises that will build strength and endurance through fun, challenging, constantly varied workouts. We offer regularly-scheduled classes on a weekly basis, as well as themed classes, field trips to locations throughout Southern Pines, Mom’s Night Out events, and playgroups.

Come SLAM in Southern Pines

We SLAM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Aberdeen Lake Park, located just south of the city of Southern Pines and Pinehurst. This park has beautiful, scenic running paths, a covered pavilion, a playground, picnic benches, and wide-open spaces, all of which make the perfect place to SLAM. We meet at 9:15am on the playground.

On Mondays and Fridays we SLAM outside the First Baptist Church in downtown Southern Pines. The area is beautiful and provides lots of greenery and even some hills that we incorporate in our workouts. We meet at 9:15 am in the grassy lawn.

Stroller Strong Moms Southern Pines is the best way to get outside and get sweating. We accommodate all fitness levels and have constantly varied, fun workouts that will challenge you to become stronger and faster.

All you need to bring with you to class is:

  • Dumbbells
  • Yoga mat
  • Stroller
  • Water
  • Snacks and toys for the kids

Don’t have a stroller? No problem! Come join us anyway! We accommodate all mothers, whether you are pregnant, or if your kids have grown up and gone to school!

This was the ultimate compliment and I was secretly giddy (for ‘skinny’ or ‘thin’ are not what I strive for), but I could not help but wish that her Mom was with her, so I could tell her that her Mom is strong, too, and share with her the source of my strength. Stroller Strong Moms has fueled my motivation to do one more burpee, run one more mile, and even take all three of my littles on an airplane by myself–I believe I can do it all because I am surrounded by other mothers who encourage the mentality that anything is possible, in fitness and in motherhood. I was not able to tell that girl’s mom how awesome SLAM is, but I can tell YOU–if you want to feel stronger, both physically, mentally, and as a mother, join us. You will sweat like a mother, wake up feeling sore (cursing my name when you walk up the stairs), but most of all, you will feel stronger in all things. And aside from how good that feels, my hope is that our children, see us as the girl on the bike did.”


Brittany is a Registered Dietitian and an ACE certified group fitness instructor. She is also CPR/AED certified through AHA.  She loves burpees, bear crawls, and running with friends. B Ham, as she is affectionately called, cannot wait to SLAM with you.
